Jennifer's Urgent Need: Rent and Deposit

I’m Jennifer! I don’t ask for help often and quite frankly am pretty bad at it. In this new season of my life I am learning to ask for the things I need help with. So, I am reaching out because I really need your help. My family and I just moved cross country from California yesterday. After 5 days on the road we are exhausted but are excited to be back in Minnesota. Being a Minnesotan for 35 years, and bringing my family from California with me is a huge leap of faith to start our new life together. We were able to find a new home for rental in the Twin Cities and need help to pay for first month’s rent and deposit. Before getting on the road this week we had to pay for significant car repairs to be done in order to arrive safely. We arrived safely but those necessary repairs made us short on our rent and deposit money for our new home.

This is where we need your help. 

We are aiming to raise $4000 to cover deposit, first month’s rent, and food for our kiddos (10, 14, 16).
