Hello Friends and Family

As some of you may or may not be aware, Jennifer arrived in Waynesville last week to visit her family. Shortly after arriving, she started to become extremely sick. First vomiting, severe headache, then the onset of her arm becoming numb and slurred speech. Thanks to the quick thinking of Misty, her sister - she was taken to the Rolla emergency room. Unfortunately, while waiting to be seen, she suffered a stroke. She was immediately airlifted to the Boone Hospital, Columbia, Missouri – and was placed in ICU. They were unable to treat her quickly because she had a rare situation. She had a blood clot and bleeding in the brain. The bleeding was not severe enough for surgery, but they monitored her relentlessly. She was finally released from ICU today, yet she will need to be carefully monitored and will need to give her body time to heal.

We are working together to try and help raise money for the medical as well as travel expenses that are currently being accrued.
