Hello, I'm Emily and I'm raising funds for my mother Jennifer Bradley.

Mid-August, 2025, my mother was SA'd by Anthony Martinez. He had been her neighbor for a few years. She had been an "overseer" for him and his daughter for a few days when the assault happened. The girl's mother had been put in jail for drug use. While hanging out in the living room, my mom believes he put something in her drink. He had asked his daughter to go see if her grandmother needed something to be alone with my mother. He forced her into the front bedroom and onto the bed, where the assault happened. She had to go to the hospital to have a "kit" done, which showed lacerations and other injuries.

After making a police report and providing as much evidence as she could, Anthony decided to run and hide from police. My mom feared for her life as Anthony, as well as his family, knew where she, and some relatives she stayed with, lived. Cars with dark tinted windows would pull up to where she was staying with the passenger seat leaned far back. Thankfully, one day, with the brave help of my mom after spotting his vehicle, the police were able to make an arrest and put him in jail.

After Anthony was taken to jail, his daughter went into CPS custody. While in their care, they did a hair sample drug test. Her hair follicle tested positive for meth, which could be months or even a year old. My mother's kindness in being an overseer for the child's well-being has unfortunately put her in a position where she is being charged with child endangerment.

My mother has never done any drugs, however she did test positive for meth in her system. She believes this is what he put in her drink. Anthony has been arrested in the past for possession of prescription medications that would make someone test positive for meth. My mom has only ever smoked cigarettes, nothing more. She is currently in jail with a bond of $150,000. The bail amount would end up being $15,000 (10 percent). She also needs help with funds to cover lawyer fees, so she has better representation than just a public defender. Any funds past that will go to helping my mom relocate to a place where she doesn't have to be forced to relive her assault.

In addition to all of this, the past few years have been full of grief and loss. She is devastated and feels like giving up.
