Jenna's Family Lost All in Fire Tragedy

Donation protected
Around 4:30am Wednesday morning (May28th), our daughter Jenna and her boyfriend Owen woke up to a smoke & flame filled apartment with our granddaughter Kaycee screaming and someone banging on their front door. Initial reports are another tenant in the same complex accidentally started the fire in their yard; it ignited a propane tank and set off multiple units catching on fire in 2 separate buildings.

Thank God for the fast response from Clovis PD and Fire Department or we might have lost them all. The picture with the bedframe was from our 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter - Kaycee's bedroom. This picture severely haunts me - it is a sobering reminder of how precious life is. Thank God they are all alive.

They lost everything - nothing is salvageable - between fire, smoke and water damage everything is gone. They say, "You don't know what you have until it's gone", and Jenna is definitely feeling this. The trauma they experienced is beyond measure - They lost everything that they have to their name.

We are trying to raise money so that they can try to get to a new normal - it will take time to get thru the trauma they experienced but we have faith in our family, friends and most importantly God.

We are eternally thankful and grateful for however people can help Jenna and her family.
