So, you might think I’m mad, but I just see myself as an adrenaline junkie. I’ve skydived in Dubai, hang glided in Rio de Janeiro, and now I'm wing walking in the UK!

This has been on my bucket list for a long time, but I also wanted to use this opportunity to raise money and awareness for two amazing causes which are very close to my heart: DKMS and Bright Red.

My husband, Liam, underwent a stem cell transplant back in August 2024. This was a long time coming, as he was initially diagnosed in May 2016. Over the years, he’s had surgery, radiotherapy, participated in clinical trials, immunotherapy, and chemotherapy. Through it all, he has always looked at life with a glass half full attitude, even in the darkest hours; he just wants to see his son, Arthur, grow up!

DKMS is an international charity dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and blood disorders( https://www.dkms.org.uk/ ) ,raising awareness and funds for people in need of stem cell transplants.

I'm also supporting the incredible nurses on Ward 33 at the Freeman Hospital's Northern Centre for Cancer Care, who work tirelessly to care for patients. Bright Red (https://www.brightred.org.uk/ ) helps with staff development, ward refurbishments and improving patient care.
