Jeff Riser - House Fire

Hello Everyone, My name is Amy Riser. Any of you who know me, know my brother Jeff Riser. He recently got out of care from a nursing home and moved into a 55+ Private (low-income) community in Sayre/Athens, PA. Jeff is a stroke victim and is paralyzed completely on his left side. He and his roommate are both disabled. Their mobile home burned to the ground last night due to they believe an electrical issue. Jeff and Richard escaped with just the clothes on their backs. They each received a small voucher to put them up in a local hotel but that will only last about 5 nights. They lost everything, all of their medication, all of their clothing and furniture and personal belongings. Red Cross can help some, but not enough. We are looking at an astronomical amount of money to get Jeff over the hump in the next month or 2 until he can secure low-income housing again. I spoke to his AmeriHealth (Medicade) Case Worker today, she has 121 OTHER clients besides Jeff. She told me..."Do the Go Fund Me"...he will need it until we can get this situated. I've never asked for help in my life...not for me or my family..so this is very difficult for me to do. He also lost his power chair and the state won't replace it for another 2 years. Being paralyzed completely in his left arm/hand and leg, it is practically impossible for him to push himself. My parents need your help to help Jeff. Mom will administer the money only to pay bills, no cash will be given to Jeff. Any amount you can give, would be greatly appreciated. Please keep Jeff, his friend Richard, and all of us in your prayers. This is a very difficult position, especially for Jeff and my parents. Thanks so much for your time.
