Jeff, Lisa and Mel are raising funds for the Walton Centre.

Our mum and dads much loved wife of 50 years "Celia" was diagnosed with a brain tumour in July 2023. Mum was seen by the consultants at the Walton Centre soon after. At this extremally scary and upsetting time, The Walton Centre were fantastic! After our first appointment with mum, we were given the news that they would operate, and we felt an unbelievable sense of relief and hope! Mum was admitted shortly after with the best attitude ever and underwent two lifesaving operations and came out fighting each time. The Walton Centre saved our mum's life twice in the matter of days and we will be eternally grateful.
Sadley our mum Celia passed away in October 2023, leaving us all heartbroken but mum knew, and we know that without the work of the unbelievable surgeons and all of the nursing staff at the Walton Centre we would not of had those extra precious months making as many memories as we could with dads best friend and our mum.
Myself, our dad and Lisa along with Zak, Molly and Darren will be completing a number of activities to raise money for the Walton Centre Charity. We will be walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 7th July, Completing the Wigan 10k on 1st September and also raising funds for Willowbrook at their Moonlight Walk on the 14th September. We would be so grateful if anyone could help us to raise some funds and give something back as we know this is what Celia would of wanted us to do. Thanks in advance
