Jeff Hockenbrocht's Fight Against Stage IV Cancer
Donation protected
Since 2020, I feel that many of us have a renewed sense of our need for others in our lives - nothing like isolation to make that clear! We are better when we’re together, supporting and helping one another, no matter the circumstance but certainly during hard times.
The latter is why I’m posting today.
My Dad, Pastor Jeff Hockenbrocht, husband of 45 years, father to 3 kids and PopPop to 8 grandkids, is in need of support. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and has begun chemotherapy treatments. We’re praying that the Lord and this therapy will provide him healing and we would greatly covet your prayers for his physical restoration and wholeness. My Mom is, and will continue to, traveling back and forth from the hospital. Much has changed in a very short amount of time.
As you are likely aware, it’s a very costly process and people have been asking for ways to help and support them, so this is one way. If you feel led, please give towards his ongoing care and please keep them in your prayers. God is good and we have His peace as we move forward.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
