This past Friday April 7th 2023 my father’s home/place of business burned rapidly in the town of Medina. I would like to start by thanking all the first responders for their courageous efforts in this very unfortunate situation. Without their service my dad would not have made it out of the building as he was trapped on the 2nd floor with the fire originating from the basement.

Acquiring this building in 1973 my dad has owned this historical building for the past 5 decades which acted as his source of living and business. The building made of sandstone has been a historical piece in the community for decades far beyond that.

The results of the fire are devastating to the community, the historical structure of the building, and more so my dad. Due to the fire, he has lost everything. He did not have any insurance coverage therefore, none of his losses are covered. His home. His business. His belongings. Nothing left. I have started this go fund me to help him with some of the very important necessities he needs. Already the fencing surrounds the building has been donated by Hellner Development Company, LLC as we work on a solution regarding the future of the building. As a small community it is wonderful to see everyone come together to support a fellow community member in need. We are immensely grateful for all and any donations.
