On November 12 at 6am, my dad and sister, Jeff and Malina Elk, lost everything they own in a devastating house fire. We are so incredibly grateful that they escaped safely and are able to stay with family in the meantime. Even though they are uninjured, the impact was detrimental. Nothing is salvageable, and all they managed to save were the clothes on their backs.

My dad is the most hardworking man I've ever met and is a dedicated carpenter. This morning his truck, and all of his tools went up in flames. My sister Malina is the kindest, most selfless soul, and she watched her childhood home full of memories burn to the ground.
