Jeff and Kristie plus 4

Seven years ago Jeff and Kristie Taylor made a decision that would change their lives. They became a host family for an adult foster with Samaritas. They offered a room to a young refugee girl from Honduras who was also a victim of human trafficking. Since then they have been dedicated to helping her and  ultimately her children. This young lady has struggled to find stability and unfortunately has made some poor choices when it involves  her well being and the care of her children. She is now in a ICE detention. 

Although Jeff and Kristie have always been a part of the children's lives. Kristie and Jeff have now been given temporary custody of her four children. They are now pursuing fostering.  In order to prepare their house for all four children they need help with room remodels and a structural repair that will make an appropriate space for the children. Fostering approval is contingent on these repairs.  And due to the abruptness of the situation their finances have suffered. Jeff and Kristie are uncertain what will happen with the children's mother, but of course are hoping for an opportunity for positive change.
