Jeff and Bettina's Journey to IVF

Our very close friends, Jeff and Bettina Curl, are two of the most kind-hearted, fun, giving, and sincere people we’ve ever met. They are a true testament of a couple that exhibits patience, love and hope. Jeff and Bettina have been on their journey to conceive for quite some time now. And because of this, we would love to share their story with you.
Jeff and Bettina were married in January of 2008. They started married life with a move to Germany where Jeff became a Military Police Officer for the Air Force. Their four years together in Germany marks just the first stage of their efforts to become parents. Doctors there said nothing was wrong and that they "hadn't tried long enough".
In 2012, they moved back to the United States. Jeff and Bettina got settled, found jobs, continued schooling, and decided to take a break from all of the appointments.
In 2014, Jeff and Bettina started meeting with specialists to try to get to the bottom of their infertility. In the last 3 years, Bettina has undergone ultrasounds, dye tests, four IUI procedures, and extensive testing. They have spent more than $6,000 and haven't found a method that works.
Jeff and Bettina hope that 2017 will finally be the year that they can grow their family. They are now saving money to begin the very expensive process of IVF with OHSU.
The time has come where we think they have been trying for long enough and it is time to provide our support. A baby would be so lucky to have Jeff and Bettina as parents. This is evident to anyone who can see them with their nephews, Mason and Myles, and with Bettina's 500 students at school. Baby Curl would be welcomed into a loving home with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents who have been praying for this sweet baby’s arrival for quite some time.
We humbly and gratefully invite you to help us fill Jeff and Bettina’s dreams of becoming parents. All of the funds raised will go towards Jeff and Bettina’s IVF procedures. Thank you so much for your time, consideration, prayers, donations and love!
