Support a Single Mom buy a RV for her for kids and her

Hi, my name is Helene. I’m a single mother of four incredible kids—one plus triplets. The past few years have been some of the most challenging years of our lives, and today I’m humbly asking for support as we try to get back on our feet and into a safe, stable place.

After leaving an abusive marriage, my kids and I have been navigating life one day at a time. I’ve been in therapy, managing anxiety with medication, and working around the clock to provide for my family. I’ve been DoorDashing for over four years, and driving for Uber and Lyft for the last two. My first car lasted over 300,000 miles before it finally gave out, and now I’m close to 100,000 on the new one—which I’m still making payments on.

Last year, while juggling a full-time job in real estate, multiple side gigs, and solo parenting, I was faced with a mental breakdown. I recently started a new job this past year that required me to be on my feet, and even the basic tasks—like mopping—aggravated my lower back and hip so badly that I had to stop working. Now, I’m in the process of applying for disability while I wait to find out what options are even available to me.

We were supposed to move in with a friend in February, but I later discovered there were issues between her and my children that I wasn’t aware of. I had to make the painful but necessary decision to walk away from that situation to protect my kids.
Which is one of the reasons why I left my last ex-husband in the first place: to keep them safe.

We’re also currently facing eviction. Like many families right now, we’ve fallen behind—not because of laziness or irresponsibility, but because life has thrown more at us than I could keep up with. Between rising costs, limited income, and ongoing health issues, it’s been an uphill battle. We’ve done everything we can to stay housed, but now we’re out of time.

Now, we’re stuck. We’re trying to move forward, but we don’t have the means to do it. I’m asking for help to cover the cost of a U-Haul, temporary housing, and basic essentials so we can figure out our next steps safely and with dignity.

To make matters harder, my children’s father currently owes over $72,000 in unpaid child support. He has made a habit of quitting jobs as soon as wage garnishments begin, leaving us in deeper financial strain. On top of that, my kids are facing emotional harm from the way they're being treated by people who should be supporting them—not hurting them.

I’ve done everything I can to shield my children from pain, but they’ve experienced more than most kids should ever have to. I wish I could make people see the damage and wake them up to what our children go through. My focus is getting them into a better situation—one that’s stable, safe, and full of hope. We’re also managing two graduations this year: the triplets graduating eighth grade and my oldest graduating high school, which is on the 5th and 6th of June, while we have to be out by the 4th.

If you can help in any way—whether it’s a donation, a share, or a kind word—we would be deeply grateful. Every bit brings us closer to rebuilding and finally breathing again. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for caring about a family that’s still fighting to rise.

With love, Helene
