Our family is going through the most unexpected and heartbreaking time of our lives.

On December 26, my mum was rushed to the emergency room after collapsing multiple times. She was critically unwell, with unstable vital signs, and required urgent medical intervention to stabilise her. Watching medical teams work to save her life was terrifying, and being asked to leave the hospital that night not knowing what would happen next was one of the hardest moments I’ve ever faced.

After days of tests, uncertainty, and fear, we received devastating news on December 31 — my mum was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. From that moment, our lives changed completely. Since then, there have been constant hospital visits, emotional exhaustion, and a daily effort to hold onto hope.

Because of her diagnosis and the intensity of treatment, my mum has had to step away from running her mobile laundry business to focus entirely on her health. Right now, all of her strength — physically and emotionally — is being used to fight this illness.

We’ve created this page to help ease the financial and practical burden that comes with serious illness, so my mum can focus on what truly matters: continuing treatment, healing, and spending time with the people who love her. Funds raised will help cover medical-related expenses, daily living costs, and essential support during this incredibly difficult time.

My mum may be small in stature, but she has the biggest heart and the biggest dreams. Building her laundry business was something she worked toward with determination, pride, and hope for a better future. Although she has had to step away from that dream to focus on treatment, it represents who she is — a woman who has never stopped trying for her family.
