JCT= Just Come Together
It takes a village to raise a child.
We are a registered Community Interest Company, based in South West London. As we all know, a lot of our youth have lost their way and are losing their lives as a result. Our goal is to provide a service to the community, that will help to address this sad fact and save lives.
Our USP is that we are willing and able to engage these vulnerable youths directly, within their own environment. Currently, 999 needs to be dialed and then there is a response time. We aim to fill that gap by being there before the facts and not always after. Intervene where possible. Prevent conflicts and offer guidance and support. Our presence alone has already decreased the opportunity for local crime to thrive.
We have an active street team that go into the estates to interact with the youths and a staff of professionals to facilitate improving their outlook of life, through mentoring, motivating and a re-education of values.
We will deliver workshops throughout the week that will offer an opportunity for the youths to gain an experience of a range of activities and gain skills to give them a purpose.
We want our goal to be visualised immediately, to help prevent any further deaths. That’s why we are calling for ALL to invest in our goal, that will benefit ALL, but especially our young people.
