A better life for my children and I

Hi, my name is Holly and I'm fundraising for legal fees and travel expenses in order to help keep my kids and I together during a difficult divorce.

A little backstory on me and how I came to be where I am today...

At the age of 14, I was sent to an SDA reform school called Miracle Meadows School for at risk youth. (Now closed down) While there I dealt with various abuses designed to brainwash and manipulate children into utter submission and loyalty. Not only to the church but interpersonal relationships as well, i.e. parents, future spouse, etc....

Fastforward 25 years later to my current situation. I was 18 when I met my husband and embarked on a journey of physical, emotional and mental abuse that not only effected me but also our 3 children.

My skewed sense of "love" and "loyalty" for this man caused me to ignore the blaring red flags thinking that I could help him get better. Want better. To be better. All the while I was still being broken down and manipulated into believing I had no one and nowhere to go to except him and his family.

Everything came to a head on September 1st 2023, when he and the in-laws kicked me out, making me homeless and keeping my children from me. Thankfully, this separation time has given me clarity of mind and body and shown me the full scope of the narcissistic behavior's I've been experiencing over the past 20 years. As well as the steps I need to take to get my kids and myself out and away from that hell and begin the healing and rebuilding process of our lives.

Unfortunately, this is going to require money that I don't have because I'm currently without a job and am physically unable to maintain one until I get my health on the right track. I'm creating this account to help with the legal fees and travel/living expenses associated with filing for divorce and gaining custody of my children.

I deeply appreciate any and all donations, prayers and shares towards freeing my kids and I from anymore of the abuses we've been subjected to. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
