JC and I met in 2002 and have been together ever since. We have always tried to have our relationship recognized by the law. We became domestic partners in 2006 and were married prior to Prop 8 in Sept of 2008. We were raised with wholesome values that we live by to this day. We surround ourselves with the love of family and friends and are both hard working individuals striving to be the best we can be each day.
In 2006 we decided to be a part of the American Dream. Buy a home. We purchased a new home and built it from the slab up. Our next step? Start a Family!!

What we didnt realize was what was about to come.

By January of 2007 we were underwater by 60,000.00 and as of now we are under 200,000.00 even with a modest growth in the economy.
We are aware that hundreds of thousands of homeowners suffer this hardship and are still just trying to stay afloat. The reason for us referring to it is the whole reason for our gofundme request.
Our intention for purchasing a home was to establish a life and have the american dream. It was also to make some equity and take that money and start a family.
JC and I have wanted to have a child together from the moment we met. It was a must in our relationship. We have the belief that we can nurture a child and empower them to be amazing and make their life count and make a difference in this world that at times can be difficult and challenging.
Being in a same sex marriage has its wins and opportunities. One big opportunity is the inability to have a child without intervention.
Although we have tried to save, we have not been able to reach the exorbidant amount of funds it takes to go through a surragacy.
We are asking to raise funds to support our family. To support two people that want to bring a life into this world and make them thrive by giving them a life full of love laughter and opportunities.
