A2A raises money for local Charities and Families
As many of you know our Beloved Friend, coach, teacher, and Mentor Mr. Woitach passed away. A2A was started by his former players and friends to help him when he needed it most. We created the Annual Mark Woitach Tipoff tournament and many other events to raise money for local organizations and people in need. We are beyond humbled that he and his family asked for donations to A2A. A2A give students the ability to work as a team to create and run events to raise money for many causes in the Southern Tier and beyond.
We are Athletes2Athletes (A2A), a student run, non-profit organization that was developed with the mission to help athletes and people within our community that are in need. As a group, we have a dream of making a difference in our community beyond the playing field.
Over the past nine years we have had the privilege of donating to so many amazing charities, organizations and community members. In addition to the Ronald McDonald House of New York, Make-A-Wish and Habitat for Humanity, we have helped dozens of local families and have helped sponsor teams, events and students in various ways. To date, we have donated nearly $70,000 dollars. As the pandemic affected the last few years, 2023 celebrates A2A’s 10th year anniversary. We will be holding our annual Staff Basketball game on February 23rd in the Johnson City High School gymnasium, pitting our High School Staff vs. K8 staff.
Your generosity will make a difference in our community by allowing us to continue in our work.
