I'd like to start this off by saying that Jay is still fighting. He hasn't given up. We haven't given up hope. Today 01/25/2024, Jay was given the Unfortunate news that he has about 2 months to live. He has an obstruction in his stomach and is unable to eat. He can barely drink water. That being said his body is too weak for surgery. The chemo treatments aren't helping any longer. The cancer is progressing. It's definitely not the news we wanted to hear. It isn't news anyone wants to hear. He will begin hospice in the following days. While he was given only 2 months, that doesn't mean that he will give up the fight. He has a lot to fight for. He has family and friends that love him. He has 9 wonderful kids, 2 awesome stepkids, 6 grandbabies, and another on the way. We will continue to pray and be hopeful that the "Doctor's aren't always right." Jay is a very strong-willed man. He has so much to still live for. He has a huge heart and will be friends with anyone who shows him they're a kind-hearted person. He's very welcoming of new friends. So, I'd like to ask that everyone please, say a prayer for Jay. Wrap your arms around him and let him know how much you care and love him. He needs all the encouragement he can get right now and please don't hesitate to give it to him. Thank you!
