Dear Karate Family & Friends,

Our Student Jayden passed away yesterday morning. His heart just couldn’t take anymore and he took his final breath in the early hours of Mother’s Day. We are broken.

We will continue to raise money for Jayden’s family to help with funeral, memorial and any other costs.

Please share this link with your family and friends. https://www.gofundme.com/f/jaydens-family No donation is too small as it will help a grieving family so much.

Please keep the Nedeski family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of their dear little boy.

Please note all donations will go straight to Jayden's parents, Bill & Vesna Nedeski.

Kind regards,

Sensei Alex & Julie

Hello,
I am Sensei Alex and it is with a heavy heart I must write this message to you.
My dedicated student Jayden Nedeski has been training at my karate school for 5 years. He came to me as a quiet, shy boy and over the years I watched him blossom into a brave, outgoing young man working towards his black belt.
2 weeks ago I received one of the worst phone calls any coach, dad, Sensei could receive.
They explained that Jayden all of a sudden couldn’t walk or talk. He was rushed to the hospital and his parents were told Jayden has a very aggressive brain tumour and there was nothing the doctors could do and was given days to life. Jayden was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumour called Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma "DIPG". DIPG is rare with only 20 children diagnosed per year in Australia (1-2 in Victoria). The tumour sits at the back of the brain stem and attacks vital parts of the brain and eventually shutting everything down. There is no cure.
Jayden being the truly strong boy he is has been fighting the cancer and is still trying to hold on as best he can.
As a Sensei all I want is for my student to be back on the mat and I feel hopeless that this can’t happen at the moment. So the best way I can think of helping is to try to relieve the financial burden that this trauma has been put onto Jayden’s family.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for any donation, big or small it means something.
The Nedeski Family are a kind and beautiful family, who have always supported our Karate School and our members. Please pray for Jayden and his family.
