Jaxon's Epilepsy Equipment
Donation protected
Good evening everyone. Most of you know Jaxon and his medical needs, he's suffered with epilepsy since a few months old and as he's getting older and wants to be more independent we have to do the right thing and let him start exploring the world more and not attached to our hips, ie having his own room, starting full time school etc. So for this we would feel a lot more comfortable and less stressed if we could provide him with these monitors that could be potentially life saving. The first monitor is The Embrace2, which is a wearable watch that will alert us to any seizures straight to our phones and can potentially pre warn us of incoming seizures. He'll need this for school so he can wear it throughout the day so we can be alerted right away if anything happens. The 2nd device is the sami camera. Which goes in his bedroom and records 24/7 onto the app, the camera detects any unusual movements while he's asleep and alarms us right away so we can go into his room. He's always slept with us in a bedroom so it's a huge step for him not to be with us, this camera will allow us to be there right away if any nocturnal seizures occur.
This is something we would never usually do and to be honest are a little embarrassed about asking for, but they really are essential in giving him the best quality of life and keeping him as safe as we possibly can. As we all know epilepsy can be very dangerous. So if you can spare anything it would go a long way on getting jax the medical kit he truly needs
Thank you
