Congratulations Jason ! UTSA 2023

Jason is graduating with a B.S. in Kinesiology in May 2023 from the University of Texas, at San Antonio! Let's chip in to buy him an alumni ring!

That first sentence makes me tear up. No, seriously. I’m in awe and so excited for my nephew, Jason. He has struggled, pushed through, and ultimately overcome so many obstacles to get to this day. Most of you know that he faced many challenges right from the start. He’s the first in his immediate family to earn a college degree. Right after entering college, he had to find a new place to live and a way to pay for it. He worked full-time or more to pay the bills and avoid school loans as much as possible. He’d hardly begun to experience college life before the Covid Pandemic hit and he was doing his classes online, transitioning back to campus just over this last year. Throughout it all, he persevered and studied, and he maintained an excellent GPA. I think you’ll agree, he deserves some applause!

That’s what this GoFundMe is all about. Let’s get together and give Jason a graduation gift that he wants and deserves. An alumni ring!

I understand that some of you are just making ends meet. But I also know that you would like to give him a meaningful gift. This is your opportunity! I know this is true because 25 years later, I still wear mine as the first college graduate in my own family!
