Hello everyone ,
I am starting this on behalf of the Leeson family . Please note that the parents ( Jen & Jamal) are currently asking for some space in this difficult time but you are welcome to send some words of encouragement in the comments below .
The identical twins girls were born at only 28 weeks on Saturday, September 21st . Jasmine Leslie Leeson was born first at 3:08am naturally weighing 2lbs 6oz . Jade Lori-Anne Leeson at 3:32am via C-section weighing 2.5lbs.
Unfortunately, both girls struggled with a series of health issues including Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) . PKD affected both of Jasmine’s kidneys and only of of Jade’s. Jade also faces a series of other health issues including: club feet ,and a malformed left arm that will have to be amputated.
As of Sunday September 29 at 12:00 am , our little Jasmine has passed away due to renal failure. Although the time was short, she defied the odds and gave us a beautiful week to know her . She was surrounded by love. She passed peacefully beside her sister Jade and with her parents Jenn & Jamal by her side.
We are asking for your help to offset the costs of funeral arrangements for baby Jasmine as well as the upcoming costs of appointments and other medical expenses that will incur for Jade. We greatly appreciate anything that you can give .
Jasmine Leslie Leeson , you are loved infinitely and will NEVER be forgotten .
