July 22nd, 2021, I lost my Mom to her battle with Cancer. Three months later, I ran my first marathon. Both journeys cementing what would become a new version of myself, one that I hope she would be proud of. Since that day, I have set out to achieve running all 6 World Major Marathons, having now ran 4 (New York, Chicago, Berlin, London) and raised $10,823 for cancer research. This past week, I received confirmation of sponsorship from the Japan Cancer Society to run my fifth major, the 2026 Tokyo Marathon with a goal of raising $2,500. My community has been unbelievably supportive throughout this journey, and I cannot thank you enough. My hope is that this will be the last time I ask for your help. With this race, I dream to qualify for the Boston Marathon finally achieving a 6 yearlong goal. All for you, always Mom!!
