Janice Lewko

In January of this year, Janice underwent a day surgery and was on medical leave for 6 weeks. During her healing time, she underwent a number of tests. On February 6/25, Janice was diagnosed with multiple myleloma which is a form of blood cancer. She has had many trips to Regina for testing and meeting with her oncology team. She will undergo chemo therapy for 4 to 8 months in Regina. Once chemo is completed, she will be required to stay in Saskatoon for approximately 2 months for a bone marrow transplant and will need to remain in Saskatoon to be close to her transplant team until her immune system is rebuilt. Due to an extremely depressed immune system while undergoing treatment, she will be off work for at least a year. please consider donating to help Janice pay for travel, meals and accommodations and health costs not covered by SK health.
