On April 18, 2020, Janell Byrd passed away unexpectedly from complications associated with COVID-19. This unfortunately caused her to leave behind her two year old daughter, Layla, as well as her 15 and 16 year old daughters, Kayla and Keyairra. Janell was a devoted wife to John Byrd and also leaves behind her 21 year old daughter, Quashilay, 26 year old son, Chris, 11 month old grandson, Nick Jr., and a host of family and friends. Janell was loved by the community and admired for her skills in braiding hair. She will definitely be missed. After receiving many messages about how to donate to her children, I reached out to her husband to approve starting this as a way to make donations.

Losing a loved one is hard. Losing a loved one unexpectedly is even harder, especially when younger children are involved. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Prayers are needed the most.
