Hello! My name is James, I'm 14years old and in 2027 I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to go on a 4-week volunteer expedition to Kenya with Camps International!

This trip isn’t a holiday — while in Kenya I'll be volunteering to help the local communities in a wide range of important projects such as building homes or schools and helping gain access to clean fresh water.

The total cost of this life changing experience is over £4000 (including flights, insurance, all food/accommodation, and all of the projects). I’ve already saved some money from weekend jobs and birthday money, but I still need to raise more to make this dream a reality.

Over the next 12 months I'll be taking part in a range of fundraising activities from climbing Snowdon to bike rides and bake sales.

This trip will push me completely out of my comfort zone, teach me skills I can’t learn in a classroom, and let me give back in a meaningful way.
