Hi, my name is James Mentzer, and I’m reaching out with both humility and hope.
I live with Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive condition that has taken away my ability to walk and made me reliant on a wheelchair full-time. While I’ve adapted to many of life’s challenges, one major barrier remains: safe and reliable transportation.
So far, $800 has already been raised, and I am incredibly grateful. Every donation and share reminds me that I am not facing this alone.
These repairs are not about upgrading or improving something extra — they’re about restoring something essential. This van represents independence, stability, and the ability to keep moving forward safely.
If you are able to donate or simply share this page, you are helping me regain the freedom to continue showing up for life.
With your support, this isn’t the end of the road — it’s the start of the next mile.
– James
