James's campaign for Edmonton's Food Bank

How much does it cost to feed a family in need?

Edmonton's Food Bank was seeing an increase in demand by 18% before COVID-19 and continues to rise, especially among families and students.

We have all experienced a major ordeal, and imagine not knowing when you'll get to eat your next meal.

Can you remember walking past a collection bin for food donations and seeing it filled with cans, cereals and non-perishables? Edmonton's Food bank hampers generally include milk, eggs, bread, fruit, vegetables, yogurt, as well as non-perishables such as pasta and soup.

I'm raising money to benefit Edmonton's Food Bank, and any donation will help make an impact.
I want to do this because I feel so inspired by the support of our community and all of the amazing actions of individuals and groups are to uplift people around them.

I have committed to run 75 km per week for the next 8 weeks. Starting Monday, May 11, 2020, until Sunday July 4. I will run at least 300 km per month and 600 km total.

It costs $20 per day to feed a family.
My goal is to raise $6000.
That's 300 families in 60 days.
