James Needs Your Help to Bring Kids Home

Hello, I am James McDonald's sister, Rachel Maddux. James has been through the wringer with his relationship with his ex-wife. The most recent string of events has left James without his children even though he has full custody. James' kids are in foster care until he reaches a court date on 3/24 for arraignment, then another court date further down the road with a jury most likely.

James was on the path to getting things figured out. After a string of unbelievable events, he finally had a way to get out and was headed to the West Coast with the kids to start over. Unfortunately, there was an unloaded firearm placed in his daughter's carry-on, and he didn't know. He went to the airport with the kids, checked a bag, and headed to TSA. They found the firearm, arrested him, and took his children. He has no record, and his fingerprints were never on the gun in his daughter's bag. We do not know where his kids are yet, only that they are in foster care.

In order for James to get his kids back, he needs a car, an apartment, and a fee to pay for his attorney. He is actively looking for work and trying to earn as much as he can to get his life back. Anything you can do to help is incredibly generous.
