James, better known as JJ, was a loving and compasionate son, brother, father, and friend who was loved by many. For those who knew JJ knew he was a good kind hearted person who loved his son. Sadly in the early hours of Saturday May 13 this beloved man was shot and killed on the 900 Block of West Main St. Durham, NC, by an unknown assailent. JJ leaves behind his young son JJ jr., his mother, two sisters, a brother, and a host of family and friends.
