Hi, my name is Joshua, I’m 13 and I’m raising money for a 4 week expedition to Kenya (Summer 2026).

Over the next 18 months I will be fundraising in all different ways including a charity 10k race, cake sales, collection pots and hopefully local business sponsorships.

I am very eager to do as much as I can to fundraise so if anyone needs any odd jobs doing or help at their work place/companies I’d be more than willing to get involved and hopefully learn some new skills along the way (please contact me directly).

The trip itself -

Myself, along with a small group of boys from my school will be travelling to Kenya in the summer of 2026. Here we will work on a range of projects throughout the expedition, each designed to make a significant and lasting impact on the region’s most critical issues.

I will help to build/renovate school buildings so that local children have a clean and safe academic environment. I’ll also get involved in initiatives such as improving natural waterholes and planting indigenous trees for habitat and food sources.

The Muhaka village remains one of the poorest communities in Kenya. Whilst there I will help with development projects such as traditional house building whilst also participating in reforestation projects within the sacred Kaya forest.

I will keep this page updated with all my different fundraising activities and of course photos from when I go to Kenya next year.
