Help my late uncles family in Bangladesh
Donation protected
Assalamu Alaikum,
My name is Halima, the eldest niece of Jamal Khan and I am reaching out with a heavy heart, seeking your support and generosity.
I am writing to inform you of the unfortunate and untimely passing of my beloved uncle, Jamal Khan, on Friday 4 April 2025 in Bangladesh. He was a kind-hearted and humble man who, despite facing immense financial struggles throughout his life, always carried himself with dignity and perseverance.
Unfortunately, my uncle left us suddenly, leaving behind his wife and two young children, who are now facing the cruel realities of this world without a father and provider. The weight of this loss is unbearable, especially for his wife and children, who were already struggling with poverty. My uncle was a man who never turned away from helping others when he could, and he always maintained his faith in Allah (SWT), even in the face of hardship.
As we all know, this world is temporary, and it is Allah SWT who is the ultimate provider and caretaker. However, it is also our duty as Muslims to support one another in times of need, especially when we are able to do so. In the Quran, Allah SWT says:
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like that of a seed of grain that grows seven ears, each bearing a hundred grains.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:261)
In these times of distress, I turn to you, my brothers and sisters in faith, to help ease the burdens of my aunt and her children. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in helping them get through this difficult period. The funds raised will be used to cover their daily expenses, provide for their education, and ensure they can continue to live with dignity in the absence of their father.
This is not just about money; it’s about providing hope, support, and a sense of security in an otherwise uncertain world. By donating, you will be performing a great act of charity (sadaqah) in line with the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who said:
“The best of you are those who are most beneficial to others.” (Daraqutni)
Let us come together as a community, united in our love and mercy for one another, to help this family through their time of need. I kindly ask you to keep my uncle’s soul in your prayers, and to remember his family in your duas. Allah (SWT) is the Most Merciful and the Most Generous, and it is through His will that we can make a difference.
