For more than a decade, Rooted Hospitality Group has been honored to welcome incredible seasonal and year-round team members from Jamaica. They’ve become family — enriching our restaurants, our guests, and our culture with their warmth, talent, and spirit.
Recently, Hurricane Melissa left many of our team members and their families facing significant loss and hardship across Jamaica. While we’re grateful that everyone we’ve connected with is safe, many are now rebuilding homes and communities with limited resources.
How You Can Help
We’ve created this GoFundMe to provide direct relief to our extended Rooted family in Jamaica.
Your donations will go toward:
- Essential supplies like food, water, toiletries, flashlights, and batteries
- Assistance for those who lost homes or belongings
- Local purchasing and distribution in Jamaica through trusted contacts
- Focused support for several team members’ families facing critical loss
All funds will be managed and distributed by Rooted Hospitality Group’s Donations Team with the help of verified local partners. We’ll share transparent updates along the way so you can see the impact your generosity is making.
Join Us at “Party with a Purpose”
To further support this cause, our Rumba restaurants will be hosting a special event:

- Live music, island vibes, and a portion of sales donated to the relief fund
Guests are also invited to make an optional donation, of any amount, to our Jamaica Relief Fund. Every contribution, big or small, helps provide essential support to our Jamaican team members and their families as they rebuild and recover.
