Hi, my name is Jake Conti. I've been in Scouting since Elementary school, and today I'm a Life Scout for Troop 3 in Ardsley, New York. I'm currently on the path to Eagle Scout, and with that comes my Eagle Project--a service project meant to help my community. For this project, I'm building a storage shed and its foundation for the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in my town. By donating to this fundraiser, you are helping me purchase the materials and supplies necessary to construct the foundation and shed for the Church.

Since I was a Cub Scout, the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church has always offered help to my Scouting troop, primarily by letting us use their community space as a place for us to hold our weekly troop meetings. While there, I saw the benefit of having a secure outdoor storage space to store equipment, such as yard care tools and garbage/recycling bins, so they don't need to be kept inside near the community space entrance. In addition, the construction of an outdoor shed will help keep the Church clean, bug-free, and welcoming to everyone who attends or visits.

All funds donated to this GoFundMe will be used to purchase materials, including railroad ties, gravel, insect screening, waterproof sealant, paint, and finally, the shed! All unused funds will be used to purchase miscellaneous items, like heavy-duty storage bins and wall hooks, with the rest being used to maintain and upkeep the shed.
