When we first met 12 years ago, we knew we had a future together, but we had no way of knowing what that future would entail. For us, it was love at first sight, but now, after 5 years of marriage, it is clear that we have even more love to give, and so we have made the decision to grow our family!
After a difficult, emotional journey, we realized that life isn't always how you expect it - and that's okay! Though we have encountered some personal challenges, there are options besides conceiving a child ourselves. And with your help, we are adopting a child! We are so excited and overjoyed to be taking this beautiful step. We fully believe that if you put love out into the universe, it becomes a better place. We are channeling that energy into the happiness and well-being of a child we will be proud to call our own, and who one day we will help grow into the person they want to be.
We have always wanted to be parents, and we are working hard to achieve that dream. In addition to the costs outlined below, we are taking steps to ensure our house is up to code, baby-proofed, and free of any potential hazards. Creating a safe and nurturing environment for our baby is a priority for us, and much like the adoption process, it can be very expensive. We are unfortunately not in a position to realistically pay all of the adoption fees out of pocket, so are counting on your kindness to help us through this stage of the process.

The other fees such as lawyer fees, medical and living expenses for the birth mother and other miscellenous fees are unknown at this time. They will depend on the birth mother's living situation, what state she lives in and other factors. These fees vary wildly from state to state so we won't know how much it will cost until we are chosen by a birth mother.
