Jain centre, Colindale.
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Mukul Shah, and I am the happy parent of a 3 year old daughter, Uditi. Leading a group of many other parents and friends. We are raising funds to help complete the Jain centre, Colindale project which is a Jain community centre, with a multifaith element promoting love for all and universal values like; Ahimsa, Care for the environment, Seva (charity), Compassion for animals, inclusivity, yoga, meditation and respect for all.
To help this process gain attention, we have created a charity music video performed by all of our children from as young as 2 years old to as old as 16. It is they and others of their generation who will get the most usage and benefit from this community centre. The link for this charity music video all of our children have produced is below. The start of the video also introduces this compaign.
The project is set in one of the fastest growing London borough of Colindale and will provide a much needed community centre and resource to serve not just Jains but all these causes as well as the rapidly growing diverse local community.
It is a 12 million pound project that is 10 million pound completed and needs the final 2 million. We as a group of parents, well wishers and friends wish to contribute some of that as a crowdsourced and crowdfunded element. We will take a specific laabh - ie: we will sponsor a specific part of this project in the name of all of our children - in the name of " community children". All funds raised will go towards this community centre.
They have their website and details as well and there is an option to donate directly to them also. More information here. https://jainnetwork.com
We would like as a group of parents, to give this specific crowdsourced donation which we also will directly contribute to so we can sponsor a specific structure, pillar or part of the project.
This is so all our children can through their lives come back to this physical presence and it can inspire them to be good and do good and help others. To inculcate values of; seva, compassion, generosity, resourcefulness, love, truth, and faith in them. So they can identify with this and know how much their efforts to the charity music video helped raised for their own community.
