Jaimee-Lee is a dedicated mother of 8, a fiercely loyal friend, and a passionate advocate for others. Her heart is as big as her smile, and she has always been there for everyone around her. Now, she desperately needs our help.

On Sunday, March 23rd, Jaimee suffered a severe seizure that caused a vertebral fracture. Despite immediate medical attention, the seizures continued, and by Tuesday, March 25th, she had a prolonged, life-threatening seizure that required intubation and a medically induced coma. After exhausting multiple treatments, doctors have finally managed to control her seizures, but the cause remains unknown.

Jaimee has undergone extensive testing—multiple MRIs, CT scans, lumbar punctures, and blood tests—but they’ve only confirmed that she is battling Encephalitis (brain swelling), which is still unexplained.

Throughout this ordeal, Jaimee and her husband Mannie have been unable to work. While the road to diagnosis and recovery is uncertain, even once Jaimee stabilizes, Mannie will struggle to manage his job while caring for their children and supporting her.
