You ever meet someone whose heart is so big that you're kinda taken aback by it? A person who pours out so much into others you just sit there praying their own cup be refilled?
That's Jaime (HI-meh) Coy. He's a trauma therapist (LPC, EMDR) and doing the heavy work. He's also a husband, father of 5 (blended family), and woodworker. He's an alcoholic celebrating over 9 years of sobriety. He is an affirming Christian and safe person. He's managing his Bipolar 2, depression, and ADHD.
Let's talk about his cup, because I'm hoping you'll help me fill it back up.
- He's battling burnout (trauma therapist!) and needs time off to recuperate for his health
- He is helping support his children and ex-wife (mother of children) as she is currently undergoing treatment/recovering from breast cancer
- His wife Sandy has upcoming reconstruction surgery as she is also a breast cancer survivor
- He has a small business with upcoming taxes (breaking even right now)
- Help to cover costs for his therapy clients he treats Pro Bono (unable to avoid any expense) or at a drastically reduced rate (to equal his regular rate)
