Jago's Coffee Cup at Claire House Children's Hospital

Donation protected
This page has been set up to remember our beloved Jago Ford. Jago was a passionate person, sharing his love far and wide. We all have our own memories with Jago, and the majority of them most likely include rugby or coffee.

The week before Jago moved into Claire House, he had a haircut by a Barber organised through the Hospice. In typical Jago form, he insisted that he must pay for the haircut. But this Barber refused payment by both Jago and Claire House. Instead, Jago made sure that his mum, Rowann, had this money given to the Hospice in a ‘pay forward’ approach. After Jago passed, Martin and Rowann (Jago’s parents) found out that the money Jago had paid forward after his last haircut was used to buy two crates of Starbucks iced coffee for a young man in the Hospice who was in a very similar position. This is how “Jago’s Coffee Cup” was born.

To remember Jago, his love for coffee and his passion for helping others, Jago’s family have set up a monthly donation scheme to the Claire House Hospice under “Jago’s Coffee”. This is a fundraising pot that will never close, and will be used to help everyone at Claire House enjoy some of the smallest things, like a coffee.

Jago's Coffee Cup has been operating since April this year on a small scale. We now want to step it up and, in standard Jago form, help as many people as we can on a large scale.

This GoFundMe page is going to be used centrally to raise funds for Jago's Coffee Cup.
