Hi my name is Jade, I am a mum of 3, community contributor and advocate for women.

In October 2025, I opened my home and my heart to a 15yr old boy (friend of my daughter) who was lost, he had been having trouble at home and school. He had found himself unable to be at home. My daughter asked me if he could stay with us. After much debate and discussion as a family, we agreed he could stay.

He was with us for a month doing so well and slowly integrating back with his family.

Then one night he and his mates decided they would take our family car and steal from our home. He took my keys and stole my car, they have destroyed my car and it’s now a write-off.

I have insurance and after excesses, fees and remaining finance I will be left with very little to replace my family car.

As a community contributor I am usually the one helping others and providing whatever I can to ease the burden. I am now the one needing help.

With the rising cost of living and expenses we aren’t in a position to get finance nor would I want to have it hanging over me as a constant reminder.

The pain, betrayal and turmoil this event has caused our family is tremendous.

We would appreciate absolutely any support we could gain.
