Community, family and friends,
We have an opportunity to support our dear friend Jade in making his first ever trip to Peru-- for a 10-Day Immersion in the Andes Mountains and Sacred Valley with the entire Macchaca Flores Quispe Apaza Family of Q’eros Nation, and time is of the essence. Please read on for the whole story, or simply donate below, to help Jade make this dream a reality.
Jade’s vision is to help build bridges between cultures, honor Indigenous wisdom, and continue spreading compassion, healing, and the vibrations of light for generations to come.

For many years, Jade has been devoted to serving the Birmingham community by creating safe, nurturing spaces for healing, connection, and personal growth. As the organizer of Mindful Mondays at Elysian Gardens, Jade has brought together a variety of local facilitators and wellness practitioners to offer sound healing, somatic release, yoga, meditation, and other holistic practices that are accessible to the community.
Jade has supported others through Tarot and Oracle readings, Reiki energy healing, sound healing, advanced palm analysis, and intuitive spiritual channeling. He has been mentored by Leah Denmark before her passing--she entrusted Jade with many of her lifelong teachings gathered from around the world including master energy healing practices. His work has always been centered on helping others find clarity, healing, and a deeper connection to themselves.
Last year, Jade met Don Agustín Machacca Florez and his son, Santos Machacca Apaza, while participating in a traditional Despacho ceremony. Soon afterward, Jade discovered that through Puerto Rican ancestry he has ancestral ties to Peru. This revelation deepened an already growing connection to Indigenous Andean wisdom and ceremonial practices.
Since then, Jade has continued assisting with and participating in Despacho ceremonies under the guidance of Richard Willis. For the past 6 months Jade has been studying with teachers of Pakarina Wisdom through a live teaching immersion in the Ñusta Mesa, Chakana, and Indigenous Energy Medicine. These teachings have awakened a profound calling to continue learning this ancient lineage with respect, humility, and devotion.
This fundraiser is our chance as a community to give back to Jade - and will help support Jade’s continued education, travel to a 10-Day Immersion in the Andes Mountains and Sacred Valley with the entire Macchaca Flores Quispe Apaza Family of Q’eros Nation, Peru
and ceremonial training so these sacred teachings can be carried forward in a good way and shared with the Birmingham community through healing gatherings, ceremonies, and one on one sessions.
Jade’s vision is to help build bridges between cultures, honor Indigenous wisdom, and continue spreading compassion, healing, and the vibrations of light for generations to come.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make this journey possible. Thank you for supporting this path of service, healing, and community.
This fundraiser supports Jade's scholarship spot on the retreat, roundtrip flights to Cuzco, Peru, and a small emergency fund for travel.
