My name is Laura Goodlander, a friend of the Lauer family since my childhood. I am starting this fundraiser to assist Jacquie and Kevin Lauer with medical and living expenses. Kevin will be taking needed time off from work to care for Jacquie as she has entered the care of Niagara Hospice. Jacquie was diagnosed in 2021 with stage 2 lung cancer and entered remission in September of 2021. In January of 2022, her lung cancer diagnosis returned, but progressed to stage 4 and metastasized to her brain. Her family, friends and I were anticipating hosting a benefit for them, however, with the holidays beginning just a few weeks away, we cannot find a venue. A benefit may be possible in the beginning of 2023, but Jacquie and Kevin need your love and financial assistance for immediate expenses.
