No one should be marked by abuse, neglect, or hardship but unfortunately a lot of our children are. Jacoby was a baby/toddler who experienced this before his father Devin adopted him.


At 16 months he suffered a broken leg.

18 months he fell down 18 steps being knocked unconscious suffering a severe head concussion.


Early childhood trauma has a profound impact on the brain. Many things happen in the mental, emotional, and neurological development of children who have been subjected to harm during the beginning phases of life.


Dramatic alterations in their basic brain chemistry affect how their stress system reacts, the way they think, the way they trust, and the way they connect with other people. This is not just a “software” problem, it’s a matter of “hardwiring” in the central nervous system.


When life is lived in a state of heightened fear and constant emergency, the brain reorganizes itself around the need for self-protection. Survival functions – “fight, flight, fright, or freeze” – take center stage.


High levels of stress hormones can also bring about a dangerous imbalance between excitatory and inhibitory neurotransmitters.


Over the last 9 months Devin has been sole caretaker for Jacoby and has been experiencing triggers that have occurred from trauma that have caused a 24/7 watCh.


Him and his family’s calling are being attacked. They have gone through inner healing and deliverance but right now needing the community and those who understand how severe trauma can be.


There are clinics that specialize with trauma that affect the brain but unfortunately insurance won’t cover the cost. Devin is a single father who is in need of our help to provide the tools and resources for Jacoby to receive treatment.


The clinic is called Amen Clinic in Chicago where there is certified doctors that can discuss in depth of the trauma of the brain that has occurred.


I know Devin is seeking for prayer intercessors and will put together an email/newsletter that will go out once a month with updates on Jacoby.


The second thing is people pouring a seed into their healing process. As I’ve known Devin over the last 7yrs I know he had a difficult time asking for help.


The cost will be around $5000 for complete evaluation process and follow up.

Together as a family in the kingdom God all things are possible, and we stand on the victory the Lord promises. The Lord also says anyone who blesses one of these little ones will receive blessing. The Lord has given Devin an assignment as a father and has also given us the assignment to love together as a family because we aren’t called to do this alone.

The Lord will provide not just in finances, but in miraculous healing of Devin and his family!


Jacoby has a calling on his life to reach and evangelize to the unreachable. Called to be a pastor through his healing God is stirring in his spirit a fire to heal those that feel they have no nope and disciple them into walking in the kingdom!
