Hi! My name is Jacob Martin, and I am a Life Scout in Evanston, IL. I am doing an Eagle Project for the Evanston Ecology Center, which is based in Evanston, IL. The Ecology Center aims to educate today’s youth about nature and wildlife.

The Ecology Center has a free fishing program aimed at serving kids without the opportunity to fish. The free fishing program currently uses an old fishing cart. The cart is in disrepair and needs a revamp. My project is to create 2 new carts that are both functional and maneuverable, to aid the expansion of the program and increase the turnout of the program.

All the funds will go to the materials and supplies needed for this project, and if I have any remaining funds, I will donate the funds for more fishing rods and better tackle boxes for the program.
