Jacobs Bench…a place to reflect and remember.

Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.

This go fund me has been created to raise funds for a hand crafted wooden bench seat made by the local artist at Timber Grooves in memory of Jacob Richie, the most kindest human, absolute dog whisperer and much loved family member and friend who left us too soon.

The beach at the end of Armstrong St holds a special space for all that live here. For Jacobs family it’s the place he would walk his best friend Luna and where the family walk their fur babies daily. We as the neighbourhood community would love to honour his memory and provide a bench seat for family, friends, neighbours and the community to sit, reflect and simply enjoy the beauty of the beach we are so lucky to call home.

$1000 will cover costs of a basic bench however we hope to raise enough so the family are able to create a special design meaningful towards the memory of Jacob. The bench will begin to be made in November so there’s plenty of time to raise funds x
