Jackson-Alston Parkinson's Foundation

It is with heavy hearts that the children of Paul Lawrence Jackson, Jr. (Nicole, Alonzo, and Monica), announce his earthly transition, on Sunday, March 3rd.
Paul lived with Parkinson’s Disease for many years while being cared for by family, full-time, at home during the last four years of his life. The life of a full-time caregiver is not an easy one and resources for home care vary across the country.

As the family prepares for his Celebration of Life services, we find solace in the decision to honor his memory by establishing the Jackson-Alston Parkinson's Foundation.

This foundation will be dedicated to supporting caregivers and addressing their unique needs. We believe that by providing assistance, resources, and a supportive community, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those caring for individuals with Parkinson's disease.

Under the guiding hand of Dr. Rica Wilson, founder of Brown Girl Wellness a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are fortunate to have a fiscal sponsor as we navigate the foundation establishment process.

To help bring this vision to life, we are not only seeking startup funding but also dedicated individuals interested in joining our advisory board and board of directors. If interested in joining us please send an email.

Please note: At a later date your future contribution will qualify as a tax-deductible donation through our fiscal sponsor.

The family greatly appreciates your impactful contribution.
