Jackson farm could use your help

Donation protected
The Friends of Jackson farm has been around for quite some time now. It started off as a result of a group of local individuals concerned about the preservation of the land that the Jackson family homesteaded on in 1901. That means keeping things the way they are in a minimalist perspective, not developing or damaging the site as it is now.

Over the years, the Friends, have uncovered a number of original fruit trees, which would certainly be deceased by now, by the death grip of the blackberry vines and neglect. There has been plenty of pruning and maintenance to keep up with, with the intention of it being enjoyed by all as a special historical place in the heart of Albion.

In all the years of our service, we have never asked for anything in return from the community. The time has come however to replace some of our tools, and we would certainly appreciate the help. Many folks have offered donations in the past and we have declined, using our own pocketbooks. But now we would like to make an official spot to do just that.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up. We have a goal and appreciate your support in keeping the slice of heaven known as Jackson Farm looking good.

thank you,
Friends of Jackson Farm.
