Jackson’s 750km run
Donation protected
Hello friends and family
Commencing on the 22nd of December I will be running from Adelaide CBD to the Melbourne cricket ground, this run is 750km and will be stretched over 14 days.
This run is to raise money for the Royal Society Blind’s section in training assistant dogs.
The RSB have a non profit organisation called Operation K9 in which they train labradors and retrievers to be handed over into much needed company with former combat veterans suffering from both mental and physical disorders sustained while serving our country. These dogs are well trained but the Funding for them can be upward of $30,000 in some cases. Through personal experience with my father and his issued assistance dog Laney you really cannot measure the positive impact that she has had on not just my dad’s life but his surrounding community.
Any donation is greatly appreciated but not mandatory and all donations will go to their organisation on the 21st of January, two weeks after my run is completed.
