Helping kids heal with hugs, one teddy bear at a time.
It all started with a simple thought from an 8-year-old.
Last year, our family volunteered in the community to make blankets for patients at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Jack wondered aloud if the kids might like to have a teddy bear, too. From that small, sweet idea, Jack’s Teddy Bear Drive was born! Thanks to the incredible generosity of family, friends, and our community, he collected 445 teddy bears for hospital patients! Each bear brought comfort, smiles, and a little extra courage to children going through difficult days.
This year, Jack is continuing his mission with the 2nd annual Teddy Bear Drive, aiming even higher: 500 bears! Your donation through GoFundMe will go directly toward purchasing our custom “Jack’s Bravery Bears”, shown in the photos.
Every dollar helps place a bear, and a bit of joy, into the arms of a child who needs it most. Thank you for helping Jack spread love, hope, and hugs… one teddy bear at a time.
